Easter Kite Flying

I am finally updating the blog! Here is our complete kite flying activity. My parents hosted the funnest Easter Kite flying party the Saturday before Easter. It was so much fun and awesome to be with the Palmer side of the family. Kites are so much fun! We love to get together with family.  The kids especially love all of the cousins McKay was loving all of the kites.

It was such a wonderful day.  I discovered and made this salad that is so lovely and yummy and we did a fun Easter egg hunt...that will be coming shortly.  I figured I should post what I had :)

Spring Break-The Park

We had the most lovely spring break this year!  The weather was perfect and we were able to play with so many fun friends.  It was a definitely fun time.
We went with our friends Kim and Cody to a fun park in Farmington and stayed FOREVER!  It was so good to just let the boys play and on be on any sort of schedule.  We were there for a few hours and I thought eventually they would be tired and they really just kept playing and playing.
We all got a bit sunburned (I am not yet in the suncreen habit...need to get on that) but it was such a perfect fun day.
Poor Palmer bit a hole (literally a hole!) in his tongue earlier that day.
The park was huge and so much fun!  We had a picnic lunch and some treats and the kids just had a ball playing.

Most of the boys got pretty sick on this tire swing, but loved it!  We had a lovely day!

Get Air Trampoline Park

I have been a little negligent of this blog lately.  I have a lot of pictures to get on here, but I have been having so much fun with my other blog that I have been getting a little side tracked.  Last week was spring break for my boys and the weather was beautiful so we were out and about most of the week.

I have been helping on a committee for the grand opening of the new Get Air Trampoline Park in Kaysville and I go for meetings there once a week.  My older boys are always bummed they can't go with me and the younger two love that they get to go there each week.  Since it was spring break last week they all got to go and they had so much fun!

If you haven't been to a trampoline park I suggest you try it out, really it is a ball.  I haven't actually jumped, but my boys love it (I am going to go once when I am not in a meeting and jump, I love trampolines!)
They have these fun foam pits that you can do crazy tricks into.  It really is right up my boys' alley.
As with most outings I spend most of my time following McKay around so he usually has the most pictures.
He's a pretty good little jumper!

It was especially fun because my boys got to see some of the friends that they love (that are the kids of my friends) that we don't get to see very often during the school year.  They had fun music going and Palmer and his buddies were dancing.  It was so cute.
We had such a fun time and a fun spring break!  More to come...soon I promise :)

General Conference

General Conference is an observed holiday at our house. We love it.  The kids wake up to fun things (well a conference packet, gold fish, apples, capri sun and a puzzle is very fun).  We have a fun breakfast (thin pancakes and fresh squeezed orange juice, our favorite), we stay in our pjs, listen to awesome conference while the boys fill out their little conference packets.
We set up these little bowls of candies for the boys to listen for certain words in conference  and they can get one of whatever is in the bowl if they hear the word.  We didn't do all candy this time.  We did 7 bowls of candy last time and our kids were bouncing off the walls by night time.  This time we did 2 bowls of candy, popcorn and pennies.  The pennies were the favorite.
It was a fun day!  Loved all of the talks and felt rejuvenated.
McKay thought the goldfish and Capri Sun were great!

We put together puzzles, played Farkle (funnest game) ate sweet pork burritos (one of my favorite recipes) and had homemade cinnamon rolls.  It was a fun time.
