Hunter's 7th Birthday
He also randomly asked for a drum set. This was the best we could do ;)
Cute Grandma Happy sang with him for a while, which he thought was awesome.
McKay also loves his Karaoke machine.McKay and I met Hunter at school to eat lunch with him. McDonalds is always the request for things like that.
Later that night was a bit crazy. Palmer had a school performance and Hunter and Lincoln had basketball games. We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse per Hunter's request (very late I might add).

McKay Turns 3!
McKay's birthday was back in January...and back then my camera stopped working so all I had was my camera to take pictures...they are pretty terrible but I guess we can remember it still. In true Nelson tradition, McKay woke up to a decorated house.
And balloons in his room, which he was a big fan of.
He also got a train table, which I think I was more excited about than he was.
Hunter was pretty excited about it as well. It think he played with it as much as McKay did.
McKay was pretty excited to get into his presents. He had a mostly Toy Story birthday as that is definitely what he is in love with right now.
He was excited to get a new Woody dolls as our old one doesn't talk any more and is missing the hat. McKay likes the hat as much as he likes Woody!
And who is Woody without Bullseye!
I have plans to take McKay to Thomas' Day out in May and so I have been trying to get him to like Thomas, so far he just isn't that into it. This is strange as Palmer LOVED Thomas and Lincoln and Hunter liked him a lot too. Maybe he will like Thomas more after he sees him "in real life..."
One of my favorite things McKay does is "cooks for me". I got him so new ingredients for his special meals. :)
McKay chose pancakes for breakfast so Josh the cute daddy made him yummy banana pancakes. We got this recipe out of a Williams Sonoma kids' cookbook and it is truly one of our favorites (I'll have to post it sometime.
With the boys' at school I told McKay we could do anything he wanted to do. Pretty much all he wanted to do was play with his toys, go to Chick Fil A and get a balloon.
We had to get dessert of course.
And how could I resist the request for a balloon. He was pretty thrilled with it (love that boy)
That night we headed to Chuck E Cheeses to celebrate both McKay and Hunters' birthdays.
It's pretty fun to have a birthday the day before your brother's.
McKay had a ball with all of the games and I just followed him around taking pictures.
I'm pretty sure they had a great time!
I mostly got pictures of McKay as Hunter was all over the place.
We came back to the house and had McKay's request for chocolate cake (it was supposed to look like dirt...)
We sure love this sweet little McKay. He is the cutest and I can't believe he is already 3! The time has gone so fast.
